Firefox – I’ve used her many times, but always got up in the morning and left without saying a word. The truth is, i never loved her. She’s slow, a little fugly, and BLOATED. But… inside that bloat lies the goodness. Like a secret sandwich hidden in the folds of a bed-ridden obese woman, there are plugins – many many plugins and some of them are just plain palatable. Here they are ones I use:
| Google Toolbar |
- This one mostly sucks, but I pull out the bookmark button and disable the toolbar. Then you’ve got the same bookmarks on any computer you use – even if your in China |
| Web Developer Toolbar |
- Even if you aren’t a ‘web developer’ you can still do useful things like disable cookies, auto fill in forms, etc |
| Remember The Milk Gmail Plugin |
- The outlook killer. With this plugin, gmail, and google calendars, you’ve got a great PIM, but one that can be accessed anywhere with no hassle |
| ietabs |
- Just stop using IE once and for all with this awesome plugin |
| Firebug |
- You might not need this one unless you write a lot of javascript, but it rules so I’m including it anyway. |
I’m curious what everyone else uses… post em if your nerdy enough to care
