So Google released its’ new browser entitled “Chrome” today. In the brief time I have spent using it I am amazed at the simplicity and speed. It imported all of my Firefox bookmarks, history and saved passwords perfectly. Wow…

Firefox 3.0 has been out for almost a month now and I only recently took the time to upgrade from version 2. I am posting this to convince all of you to try it, even if you have your mind set on IE or Slimbrowser. The speed is MUCH improved over the old version. Not to add many other imporvements.

Try it out when you get a chance and spend some time to try out the Add-ons.You can thank me with a six pack of your favorite summer ale…

Tabbed Taskbar in Windows

I have been complaining for years that Windows XP and Vista still do not have an option to re-arrange apps on the taskbar. Well, I can quit my bitching because some resourceful dude at the “Nerd Cave” has made a free app that does! Yay!

Some of you may have seen this, but it is a good tool for backup, folder sync, etc. Of course, it is Windows, so not as cool as rsync. Check it anyway.
